Turkish Airlines outlines ambitious 2012 targets

Turkish Airlines has targeted revenue of TRY14.6 billion lira (USD$7.7 billion) for financial 2012 as the carrier continues to grow.

The Turkish flag-carrier aims to carry 38.2 million passengers next year and targets a 73.6 percent load factor, the airline said in a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange.

The carrier is seeking to maintain the momentum generated in 2011 when a complete overhaul of its corporate website, new in cabin internet facilities and a series of new departures dramatically boosted its profile.

In 2010 Turkish Airlines was recognised as offering Europe’s Leading Airline Business Class by the World Travel Awards
